Superior fixture still not enough to get Crows the four points

Adelaide take on Collingwood in a Tuesday night game in Adelaide – reviving memories of SA v Victoria at Football Park. On paper it would appear that Collingwood will start comfortable favourites, however the complexities of COVID-19, Hub life and the condensed fixture may in fact give the Crows a sniff. Adelaide will have the advantage of playing back to back home games, while Collingwood have had to play in Perth then Brisbane before coming to Adelaide Oval – all in the space of 9 days. 

With the short break following the Melbourne match, Adelaide may consider rotating and resting some players. Darcy Fogarty is expected to be available for the match after overcoming his shoulder injury. He could be a replacement for Tom Lynch who has been down on form recently and could use a spell to freshen up.
