Golden Grove v Salisbury

Salisbury were searching for redemption in Round 3 after a 4-point loss last week to
Morphettville Park. Golden Grove, on the other hand, were looking to get their first win on the board. Salisbury broke away early, slotting a couple of goals in the first quarter, with Golden Grove managing 2 points. This two-goal lead set Salisbury up nicely going into the second. While Golden Grove made a 2-goal effort before half-half time, Salisbury didn’t let this go unanswered, leading 33 to 15 at half-time. Salisbury extended their lead in the second half, only allowing Golden Grove to score 1 more goal for the rest of the game. Danielle Woods earnt herself a shout out, kicking four of her team’s 10 goals and getting best on. Hannah Pavlovich, Aisha Thomas, Nicole Cullen, and Samantha Saunders joined Woods in the best, while the remaining 6 goals were spread nicely between Rebecca Brading, Georgia Mee, Mary Rallos, Jessica Harder, Pavlovich, and Thomas. Madison Koop, Jade Morrison, Ella Geraghty, Georgia-Lee Nelson, and Jodie Billinger were Golden Grove’s, with Geraghty, Jessica Kowalski and Jordan Woodards all with 1.Salisbury prepare themselves for SMOSH West Lakes next week at home, a game that will help settle the arm wrestle the 4-way arm wrestle for 2nd spot on the ladder. Golden Grove suit up to meet Angle Vale, who are also yet to get a win next to their name.
