Sturt v Norwood
by Dan Crouch

The Norwood Redlegs will make the short journey on Sunday afternoon to Unley as they take on Sturt at Peter Motley Oval. After falling painfully short with a three-point loss in round one and a two-point loss in round two The Redlegs were finally able to score their first win last weekend as they defeated the winless Centrals at Norwood Oval. Sturt will be coming in fresh off a disappointing loss to fellow heavyweight South Adelaide and will be looking for new ways to add scoreboard pressure after yet another low scoring outing.

Sturt are sitting at an even two wins and two losses for the season, but they hold the unwanted title of lowest scoring team in the league. After four games The Double Blues have averaged just 54 points per game. The bad news? 54 points or fewer has only been enough to secure victory once this season by any team. The good news? It was Sturt who did that when they defeated Centrals 51-36 in round 1. After Norwood scored a season-high 104 points last week to secure victory, we can likely expect to see Sturt try to control the flow and pace of the game early.
